Demo workshop, slide show, refreshments and lunch both days.

This is a two-day demo-only workshop. Alison will show the different ways that she makes her boxes using coils and slabs. She will demonstrate her methods for making the lids, handles, feet, and knobs, or her animal handles. Alison will also show how she textures the slabs before the construction starts.  Participants will have the opportunity to make small texturing tools while watching the demonstrations. The workshop will be two wonderful days of imparted technical advice as well as great conversation. There will also be a power point presentation of Alison's journey with clay from her early days running a production studio to her one of a kind soda and wood fired pots to her experimental firings in Mexico.
