Wood Fired Collaborative

For the clay artist, firing ceramics in a wood kiln is a special endeavor.  It connects one to the past with traditional methods.  It reaches all the senses, the way a campfire does with the wonderful smell, crackle and sight of wood burning.  It brings communities together, as it takes many people to fire some very large kilns.  This show features the wood fired work of artists from the Long Island Craft Guild and the CAGH.
